1. Driver Requirements

  • Drivers must be at least 23 years old and hold a valid driving licence for a minimum of 3 years.

  • Drivers under 25 years old and over 70 years old may be subject to an additional charge of €5 per day.

  • Only drivers registered in the rental agreement are authorised to drive the vehicle.

2. Vehicle Reservations

  • Reservations are made based on vehicle category and availability.

  • While we aim to provide the selected vehicle, Mario’s Car Rental reserves the right to provide a similar vehicle when necessary.

  • Vehicle availability is subject to confirmation.

3. Payment Policy

  • Full payment must be made in advance before the rental period begins.

  • Rental extensions must be requested and paid before the existing rental period expires.

  • Failure to extend a rental on time may result in insurance coverage becoming invalid and the vehicle being considered unauthorised for use. Mario’s Car Rental reserves the right to request credit card details when required.

4. Fuel Policy

  • Fuel charges must be paid in advance where applicable.

  • Fuel payments are non-refundable.

  • Vehicles should be returned according to the agreed fuel policy.

5. Insurance Coverage

  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance is included within the rental price.

  • Optional tyre and windscreen insurance is available for an additional €2 per day.

  • Insurance does not cover damage caused through negligence, unauthorised drivers, or violations of the rental agreement.

6. Additional Drivers

  • Additional drivers may be added for €3 per day per driver.

  • All additional drivers must meet the standard licence and age requirements.

7. Baby Seats

  • ISO-FIX baby seats are available for €3 per day.

  • Baby seats should be reserved in advance and are subject to availability.

8. Vehicle Use Restrictions 

The vehicle may not be:

  • Driven by unauthorised drivers

  • Used for racing or illegal activities

  • Driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • Used outside permitted operating areas without prior approval

The renter remains responsible for any fines, traffic violations, or penalties incurred during the rental period.

​

9. Vehicle Condition

  • The renter agrees to return the vehicle in a reasonable condition, excluding normal wear and tear.

  • Additional cleaning, damage, or missing equipment charges may apply where necessary.

10. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation terms may vary depending on the booking period and circumstances.

  • Please contact Mario’s Car Rental directly regarding cancellations or modifications.

​

11. Personal Data

  • Customer information is collected only for rental administration and service purposes.

  • Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection regulations.
